flamencoindalo -> Flamenco guitarist & composer CANO to perform in Dublin (Nov. 2 2009 14:41:35)

We are proud to announce virtuoso flamenco guitarist and composer Juan Antonio Suárez CANO will play two intimate concerts in Dublin with the special collaboration of his father Dámaso Suárez al cante:
- Wednesday 18 November @ The Cobblestone Bar, Smithfield
- Thursday 19 November @ Crawdaddy, Harcourt St
A virtuoso composer and guitarist, Cano was selected by renowned guitarist Gerardo Nuñez to contribute a piece to "La nueva escuela de guitarra flamenca" - a CD released in 2003 showcasing the work of young musicians that Nuñez felt were redefining flamenco guitar.
Prior to that project, Cano already had a formidable track record, having performed with such outstanding dancers as Sara Baras, Merche Esmeralda, Belén Maya, Rafaela Carrasco and Andrés Marín.
Most recently he has been collaborating with Concha Jareño, who performed earlier this year in Dublin's Button Factory. His debut album, "Son de ayer" was released in 2008.
