Hi, It's actually a pretty common "jazz chord". Guitarists like Ted Greene, Ron Eschete, Johnny Smith, Lenny Breau use it often; I used to as well. A nice thin sounding Amin6 or F#m7b5 (half diminished) is what it is. Try bending the last joint of the second finger enough so that it bars strings two and three, either that or aim and position the tip of the second finger right in between these two strings at the fifth fret so that by applying sufficient pressure you block both strings, with just the tip of the finger - another jazz technique - but also applicable to the die-hard flamencero! [8D] Finger three does nothing. But I admit it is quite a stretch depending on what comes right before or after it. Happy stretching!
