bahen -> Compas Trainer? (Jul. 24 2009 18:02:47)

Hello all,

Could someone please refer me to a website or an application (for Mac) that trains in compas? I know there are a few out there for Windows, and I have seen a website or two with good visuals and everything, but I've lost track of them. Any pointers will be much appreciated.

How about

I've been quite happy with his metronome.

ravennaflamenco.com has some palmas/cajon metronomes that are handy.

When I began I used to write down all compases I wanted tolearn to get behind each in detail.... That was my way to understanding the compas.

I never used compas clocks or special metronomes.. all these lamps drive me crazy..

I aslo think the idea of compasclocks is not well choosen and also a bit contraproductive.
For me the compas goes from left to right like reading. Any Melody goes that way, not in a circle. How could you imagine a melody in a circle?? When its at position 6 its upside down.. That would confuse me.. Always from left to right to keep control. [;)]

Well for software.. In past I used this online based metronome. Its ok.. it beeps..
