The quote from Bach (1:24) that goes straight into a quote from Tárrega (1:38) was a curious surprise, as well as the bit of Albéniz in the bulerias (8:21) - that one's nice and cheeky.[8|]
And yeah, that duo is terrific, too bad it got cut off. Interesting to see little Manuel - what a cool kid he was! He's a great player but sort of keeps a low profile these days. There's hardly anything of him on YouTube, but here's one that's quite nice:
