I just came across some sample clips from this documentary on the net, and ordered it to watch the complete film.

It was made a few years ago, so i assume everyone knows about it, but I did a search on the foro, and couldn't find any reference to the film, so just in case anyone has missed it, part one trailer/clip is here

http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=7556550

and if you scroll down underneath there's another clip.

I have it somewhere, its probably collecting dust...
It was a huge dissappointment. Short DVD, just few playing, most oft the playing
is already featured in the trailer. I thought by ordering the DVD i would see more of them playing...

Good stuff Mark,

I was very impressed by that girl "Conchi" near the end!

cheers,

Ron

yeah, it is a bit disappointing that it is a bit short, and that there isn't more playing featured, but i couldn't get the part one trailer clip to play before ordering, so i'd only seen the part 2 trailer clip... it was still interesting, and there are more clips of music and playing on the complete dvd, but it is supposed to be a documentary, not a performance vid.... i thought it was interesting anyway

From what the woman interviewed had to say it seems that accompaniment isn’t a priority for many flamenco guitarists.

Theres a dude (younh fellow) playing at about 9.25 sec in the video, im going to break his hands is far too good !! his compas in the solea he plays feels real cool..
