Hi Josh, the Almansa 447 was my first Flamenco guitar. Before that I played an Almansa 201 (classical guitar wirth cedar top). The 447 has solid back sides from cypres and solid spruce for the top. As I bought it, it costs 639 Euro, now it´s about 730 Euro, which is not very much money for a solid flamenco guitar. If you like it, buy it. The sound is OK for the price but nothing more. A beginner guitar for a small budget. Not very loud. I played the 447 for four month and then I bought a Hermanos Sanchis Lopez 2F which is much better IMO. I was very a very beginner and doesn´t realise, that with this guitar something was wrong: The top was a little bit like a valley. In fact the difference between the strings and the top was too much for a flamenco guitar (about 14mm!) or with a deeper saddle the strings vibrate on the stringboard. Today I would say that you can´t play on this guitar. As I bought it, I was so lucky to have a flamenco guitar that I don´t realise it. One day I played it before my window on a sunny day. I looked in the sound hole and with the bright light I could see that the guitar was broken inside! I´ve spoken to the Almansa factory and the shop where I bought it and they told me that this is an defect in manufacture and they gave me my money back. If you wan´t to buy it-check it seriously. It´s a real factory guitar. I would like to tell you much more about the guitar, but my english ist so horrible, sorry.
