I'm thinking to place a black golpeadors.

does the black color means something or refers to a specific style ?

I usually thought that using a coloured scratch plate on a flamenco guitar was trying to hide something. not always the case but it carries that stigma in my mind

good point I didn't think about that. but all what I am thinking about is to put a dark touch in my won guitar, I am thinking to place a dark tuners too, got the idea guys??? with this guitar color it will be something ( I don't know what do u call this color)

might as well get a black saddle and nut and black trebles too . not traditional, but might look really cool.

Where would a stigma come from? It was my understanding that white & black golpeadors were used before clear plastic was widely available, let alone thought of to use on guitars. Personally I'd go with white before black, but either might look cool. Oh and I'd go with two piece over a one piece, as (just my opinion again) a one-piece golpeador takes up alot of real-estate on the guitar's top and thus looks a little overwhelming.

I think your guitar will look great with black tapplates, but I have never seen a black tapplate that was thin enough. The ones I´ve seen were for steel string guitars and they are way to thick

The stigma comes from repair work i have carried out and guitars i have seen. I know white plates were used and are probably more traditional than the clear plates. But to re iterate the stigma is in my mind.

yes, but I'm not going to make it fashionable or something like that ..I'm still talking in a flamenco one [:(].....

when I stup the guitar I think it seems old,gypsy and seems it has a story or why it is black?? I don't know what I will say [:D] [:D] [:D]

This guy has nice ones in white; the right thickness and weight. You could write and ask if he has or can get black for you.

Pricey, with shipping, so get 2 for mistakes....[:(]
