cheers unfortunatly i dont have this one anymore. I finished friday and it went on saturday. The owner is extremely pleased. Sound wise. To quote the owner "A truely tradional flamenco guitar"

my prices are on my website www.edenguitars.co.uk

as this one was a commision it was £1200

Looks really nice! Pictures like these make me curious on how it feels to hold it and play it.. and of course, what it sounds like.

Hi Steve

Nice guitar , I see this one has got different tuners two the one you sold me.

What's the difference between a two piece and a three piece back?

best regards
Simon

:)

Stephen Eden -> RE: My Latest Flamenco Guitar (Apr. 15 2009 11:18:28)

hey simon thx very much this is my newest look. the tuners are defferent because they client ask for the best tuners and paid for them. IMO theres not a great deal of difference between the 3 piece and the two piece.

Congratulations, nice clean work. I like the way you did the purfling next to the heel cap.

Great looking instrument—I like your reference to the media luna design. Is there a split in the wood in the headstock near the tuning machine assembly (by the low E tuner)?

Stephen Eden -> RE: My Latest Flamenco Guitar (Apr. 17 2009 0:50:07)

nope the grain doesnt run in that direction. thats a marking error with a marking gauge, went a bit too far, funny it doesnt show like that with out the camera flash. The head design was just my take on a santos design. I can see that also though.

minordjango -> RE: My Latest Flamenco Guitar (Apr. 17 2009 1:24:40)

man thats a great looking guitar !!! love to hear a few mp3s , can you tell us about the sound projection and volume capabillities of your Classicals?

well done truly great instrument, and art form , to make , im still struggling (life long ) playing , i cant even change strings well[&:][:-]

Stephen Eden -> RE: My Latest Flamenco Guitar (Apr. 17 2009 8:15:31)

I dont have recording facilities i will try and get somebody to record something for me in the near future. I have just finished a classical. I will post a few pics if your interested. As for the sound i'm useless at describing sound. IMO the classical has a big sound. Its loud in my workshop the sound travels well, great sustain great balance. and the actual quality of the sound is superb. how was that?

Ramón -> RE: My Latest Flamenco Guitar (Apr. 17 2009 17:28:04)

Very nice. Nice attention to detail and finish quality.

Very sweet...
