i'm trying to make compas loops using the ones found in this forum. but most of them dont end in time. in other words, the files dont cycle nicely. so when i loop it, it falls out of compas. i'm sure this will be bad for my playing. [:@]

the only other way i see of doing it is either editing (trimming, cutting, etc.) the file so that when i loop it, it'll come out nicely or place the file on two tracks in sequence. when track one ends, track two starts (in time), than back to track one, etc.

this is very time consuming. is there an easier, faster way? [8|]

yes sample and chop each individual beat and drop them into a sampler...... just kidding.

recut the loops so they end in time, thats the only way, or crossfade. basically the same

either that or take something like reason 4 and drop the samples into dr. rex sample each beat and make a loop yourself

thanks hemeolahombre.

looks like i got my work cut out for me. [:@]

if i want a decent variety of different compas loops with different speeds, i got like 60 files to work on.
