Ramón -> Interesting alegrias escobilla variations? (Mar. 27 2009 6:52:51)

Been playing around through chord patters, as I have to do 2 alegrias escobillas on some nights, and one of them is fairly long. Her escobilla has tremendous variation, and I want to match it with lots of stuff.

Anyone have some cool tabs or patterns to mix it up?

Thanks

Hi Ramon,
Check out the chord "library" that Ricardo mostly put together. Grab some of the different inversions of the E and B7 chords and that's a great start to creating different sounding escobillas. I also like C#minor in alegrias as well as going to Am sometimes instead of B7

Here's a progression that David Serva showed me--he did it with a lot of syncopation, but the chords are cool and you can mess with the rythym-the second chord is kind of surprising....

1st X X X X
2nd 5 4 7 2
3rd 4 0 7 4
4th 6 5 4 3
5th 4 6 0 2
6th X 6 X 4

then F#m, then B7, and back to E

Mark2,

I don't quite understand your TAB sequence...?

Am I reading top to bottom? Or?

Thanks

Sorry Ramon-I'm left handed so everything is back asswards to me. The 1st string in the high E-
the first chord is C#m7
