Ron.M -> A bit of Bach (Mar. 16 2009 13:48:00)

I heard this guy on the BBC World Service last night and thought the whole idea was cool...very Flamenco in his ideas of dealing with the rhythm...

I'm still looking for it....

He's a Japanese guy who plays Sax...his name is Yasuaki Shimizu.

BUT

This other guy is COOL IMO!!

(Although he loosens up the timing and plays it more in a "Jazzy" way.....It actually sounds much better in very rigid, strict timing like Yasuaki does.)

I suppose at the end of the day good music is good music and good falsetas are good falsetas, regardless who plays them.

cheers,

Ron

OK I've found it now.

Sadly the Media Player does not seem to have a FF control, so you will have to listen to some UK guy for about 5 mins.

But it's worth waiting for.

This Japanese guy is superb.

cheers,

Ron
