Ramón -> Buleria falsetas por arriba?? (Mar. 8 2009 11:46:27)

All I can find are por medio (base chord A), Nothing in por arriba. (base chord E).

Any help? I looked into some of the posts here but again, all seem in A-base.

Thanks

I don't know if this is much help, but there are a few falsetas por bulerias in E/Arriba on the Merengue De Cordoba 1 Encuentro video/DVD, and a few more on the Enrique De Melchor Encuentro one.

Also, Oscar Hererro has a vals-buleria on his "paso a paso" vol 3, with a section in the middle that is buleria in E/Arriba. The piece is called "Vaiven" and is transcribed in the book that comes with it.

The same piece is also in his third volume of studies (called "12 studies for flamenco guitar advanced level" or something) where it is listed as "vals flamenco" but is the same, same buleria in E phrygian in the middle, book comes with a cd.

I would like to get more buleria in E (and other different keys), so if you find anything else i'd be interested.

one of Alain Faucher's bulería anthology is dedicated to falsetas in E...
if i remember correctly, if you do a search on the site flamencoweb.fr, Claude Worms has covered a few, but i'm not sure of that...you'll find some great stuff there anyway so it's worth checking out...
there's also this site and you can get Paco's Patio Custodio but i guess that's too advanced for most of us and not really the kind of E falsetas you're looking for...still if you haven't encountered this site yet it's well worth checking out...

interestingly there are more Eb and C# bulerías out there than E...i wonder why that is?
