Would using two different strings sets with different tensions for the trebles and basses cause the neck to warp or twist? example: using high tension basses and low tension trebles

Savarez has packaged a set just like that, and some classical guitarists swear by it:

You can do that without any problems. I often play with trebles with a little higher tension that the basses and I know others who do the other way round.

That's funny Anders... I do that too. I usually have hight tension trebles with normal tension basses (LaBella, Luthiers or simple D'Addario).
But everyone else I know is the other way around... I never really understood why, higher tension trebles and normal tension basses make more sense to me.
This is where you see that everyone has a different playing style.

what benefits do you guys see/hear/feel with high-treble, normal-bass?
if i were to try asymmetrical tension, i would probably go with higher tension on the bass since it buzzes more. but i've never tried it so i don't know.

Hi at_leo_87,
I find that higher tension trebles give me a more 'crystal' like sound if that makes sense. They have a better definition and handle better when you really dig in. I find that it is very important when gigging because you just get a better sound overall.
As for normal tension basses, they tend to be a bit 'looser' than the high tension which is great for accompanying, although the sound is a bit thinner.
What really works for me is high trebles/normal basses for accompanying and overall high tension when doing solos.
Those are of course very subjective matters however.
