That's Yamandu Costa and I'm pretty sure he has been discussed here before. On a different forum I read that he is often criticized for his "clownish" appearance. There has been some difficulty on the part of critics to get beyond the theatrics of his performances. I think he's great, but the way he reached for the glass at the end of the video is strange. It reminds me of a different vid of him where he reaches for a half empty glass of beer after finishing a song and downs it.

No wonder he plays with such vigor! Check out the beautiful girl next to him!

was it a real girl or one of those "standees" typycally on display at gas stations and cheap pharmacies?

By the way, Piementito, the now proverbial saying in your signature, that "Guitarists will spend half their life tuning and the other half playing out of tune", I had known of it as attributed to Andres Segovia. Not that it is that important who said it first... it remains a really funny and regrettable subtext to our lives in "scordatura permanente".

I will be employing a similar technique to edge out the competition in the beginner's challenge!

The guitarist is way better than me, but that piece did absolutely nothing for me.
