Israel Galvan
Nottingham's Lakeside Arts Centre
Fri 24th Oct @ 8pm

as part of nottdance08

ISRAEL GALVAN is a highly respected choreographer and performer whose work, rooted in Flamenco heritage, is partly improvised to the rhythm of the music. Israel's work is categorized as 'contemporary' Flamenco as he turns the historical aesthtuc rules of this artform up side down. He is currently interested in investigating the solo form. Therefore working without musicians, listening exclusively to the inner musical score, for this event Israel aims to reveal a personal dialogue; how he navigates through his body memory, how he composes with his surroundings, hoping to suprise us and himself along the way.

Tickets are £9.00/ £700 Conc./ £5.00 restricted view. To book tickets visit www.dance4.co.uk
