Chicuelo playing in Brighton May 7 2004

Juan Gomez 'Chicuelo' will be performing in Brighton for 1 night only on May 7th as part of the Brighton Festival

Barcelona born Chicuelo is one of todays busiest guitarists, his style is contemporary without losing the roots, a very powerful performer. His group also includes a singer, cajon player and Viola player.

He will be appearing at the Old Market in Hove Tickets are £15/£12.50 conc

At the end of May the young dancer Andres Peña from Jerez will be performing for 2 nights on 19th & 20th May

His company consists of 2 singers, guitarist and palmero and will be a great night of Jerez flamenco.

He will also be performing at the Old Market and tickets are also £15/£12.50 conc

I missed this gig aparently the sound was bad, shame coz I'm sure chicuelos play would ahve been great. I say Anres Pen~a at the same venue, he is a young dancer from Jerez, very good stuff from la cun~a flamenca
