You can, I think, strengthen your nails by rubbing vitamin E into them -- something I also do. It's annoying how we have to tend to our nails so assiduously. That's the nice thing about http://www.guitarplayernails.com/ You put em on and forget about them. If you have any problem, you can remove one and put a new one on in less than 10 minutes. And yea, you don't want to breathe super glue vapors too long, but it actually has antibiotic properties on the skin, and is perfectly safe to use for adhering nails. That's what "nail glue" is. I've been using it on cuts for years. It's great, waterproof, prevents infection, closes wound, no need for band aid. It's not perfect, but so far it's the best for nails. Dave

Local Hobby shop, they sell all kind of cyanoacrylate glues, and accelerators. You can get anything from water thin, to thick like honey. Regarless how somebody packages the stuff, nail hardener, etc. It's really marketing glitz. They're essentially all the same thing. If you buy something that says something like "Paco's Super Flamenco Nail Hardener", and you're paying a lot for it, you're getting ripped off. Caution with the accelerators though, if you kick off the glue with it it makes a lot of heat. You might be jumping around thinking your finger just caught fire if you get a lot of glue all going at once :) Also, acceleration cured glue is NOT as strong as slow cured. This may not be an issue for nails, but for structural bonding of assembled parts it is an issue. Jeff
