Hmm. let's see. For starters, I am real. I'm kind of embarrassed by all the BS I posted on here. But what can I say, shoot me. I just had some extra feces to fling around, so I let fly. And as far as this whole Juan Martin thing, I really couldn't care less. Yes, I think there's a lot of inflated egos on this forum. I suppose that was my motivation. If I offended anyone, I am truly sorry. I don't think i'm any good. I told you people I've been on a 5 year layoff. Plus I'm unemployed, and bored out of my mind, and also broke. So an $80 guitar is all I can afford. And on top of all that, I fell in a fire and burned my forearm from the elbow to the wrist. I am still recovering from that. So in addition to all my other problems, I've got huge hospital bills. So WTF, I came on here and stirred up some ****. Get over it.

Oh and let me add. Mr Florian. There is another thread on this forum where you continuously rip a new one for this Juan Martin Guy. I mean pages after pages ot it. I think that was what inspired me to insult you. I didn't mean it in a bad way. You can insult me all you want to . I say let the feathers fly. And then there was this guy who posted some little video of him playing some little thing, and immediately some other butthead started ripping him a new one about how his guitar wasn't in tune, and he just generally sucked, and so fothr and so on. And yeah. I ripped on the guy who said his flamenco performance at the wedding wasn't recieved very well. I will not apologise for that. Because you know why? I have alreadt been there and done that. Got the T-shirt if you will. If I was too harsh on the guy. then I apologise. Sorry dude, I din't mean that you sucked. I meant that your choice of music sucked. If you want to go out and play at a party. like a wedding. or anything else like that, then you should give the people what they want. Which is namely, a bunch of pop, rock, country crap. If lyou think you are going to go out and impress people with your classical/flamenco guitar paying prowess, then you are sadly mistaken. Nobady wants to hear that ****. I used to have this little book, or a folder, you might call it. I would usually start from the beginning, and I had a little routine. I would modify it for the occasion and the audious. I had it down to a little science. What people liked. I kind of hated it, and eventually gave up on the whole thing. Let me interject a little pearl of wisdom here. If you want people to pay attention to you, then give them some really bad singing. You will not be ignored. You might be run out of town on a rail, or have rotten fruit thrown at you, but you will not be ignored. The whole classical/flamenco guitar thing. I would say. don't ever play it for some unappreciative crowd. You are only setting yourself up for failure. And who among us needs failure? Why waste youre talent on idiots?

howard, i got the impression that whoever hired him, hired him for the event because he played flamenco. most people who have heard the word flamenco, and have looked into hiring a flamenco guitarist don't confuse them with party bands quote:
Nobady wants to hear that **** nobody wants to hear yours either. i have a pearl of wisdom for you howard: consider your audience, this isn't your personal poo slinging forum. if you want to talk about stuff in a nice way, freindly like, i'm sure we'd love to listen. nobody at this venue wants to listen to you spit bile at them. I'm sorry you have a hard life. sorry you got laid off, and really very sorry your arm got burned. thats a tough break man. i realize things suck right now. maybe you should reconsider playing wedding gigs for a bit, maybe that might be a good bit of fun now that youre older and don't care what people think of your set list. but, Florian works his ass off. he works at a job he hates. all the time. hard. sometimes, after work when he's dead tired, he gets to practice. and he practices, hard. he plays better than i ever will. he's got it rough, just like you man. a little respect for him might help. i gaurantee he will be one of the most useful sources of information that you can find. the only cost is your respect, and some decency. he however does not rage about things and make bombastic proclamations and hold himself aloft as the mighty arbiter of judgement. just simmer a bit, we'd like to get to know you. maybe you could even learn a bit about flamenco, and we can help you kick our asses. all we ask, is that you contribute what you know and that you respect everyone. with your cooperation, and a smidge more diplomacy we'll have you on your way to having gerardo nunez open for you.

Howard. If you want to vent your anger at someone for your problematic life, go do it on some other site. This ones for guys with an interest in playing, building, teaching and discussing guitars mate. I too, have for the last two years four months, not worked, had a tough time trying to play, short of cash etc, due to a nerve problem on my neck. I did'nt come in here slagging folk off, I used the site to try get back into the swing of things, and its helped me get back on the road to recovery again. The guys on here, if you give them a chance are all great in their own way, you will learn much from them if you dont abuse them, and just get to know them on a friendly basis. I'm writing this mail assuming you are the genuine article and not just another **** wishing to stir up trouble. So, either enjoy, or just go somewhere else where the members like to abuse each other. Now now guys - I dont mean that in a gay way
