my feelings havent changed, just my will and energy to pursue the subject.
So excuse me if this makes me appear like a trouble maker to you or anyone else but i was pissed off and wanted to discuss it, it came out in the open and after so many times of seeing it i wanted to adress it.
I dont see myself as some kind of hero os savior however i would love it if this never ever happened again to me or anyone else here.
but as long as we all conviniantly look the other way, we can make it dissapear for about a month .....so please forgive me 
If this had been the only time something like this happened and i was the only one he picked on this conversation would have been long over, but its something reocurring.
I seen this so many times that its predictable, he Says something, infuriates someone, goes quiet, the other person who is still angry dosent get any resolve or replie from him, so obviously hes still angry, then people tell him to move on , than he has too because otherwise he is the one who looks like he has a the problem ,then T comes back , gives a compliment to someone, things are normal for a litlle bit, then someone else gets burned.
you have no way of knowing how this feels until it is you getting burned, and then you wished someone like me spoke his mind or stuck up for you.
its really eazy to say move on until its you getting picked on.
so please , pardon me if i disturbed your peace
not you not Ron and not Ricardo have any idea what its like to be on the otherside of his mean comments so PLEASE  forgive my attempt to just make trouble for the foro again.

Ricardo i dont think its a case of you been singled out as an ''undying friend" or whatever. i think the point being made was todd wouldnt dare speak to you with the same dissrespect he so flippantly hands out to others. how does this work? one person who is not as an advanced player its o.k to be rude to, yet another person who is a better player automatically gains 'respect'. respect for ones ability as a guitarist, and common human respect are two totally different things. common human respect is what this is all about(thats how i read it anyway)no one should have to earn anyone elses 'common human respect', although one can lose it through poor choices and/or behaviour, and even then we can all redeem ourselfs. todd can still redeem himself. although in todds defence, he is no where near as bad as i remembered he was a few years ago and i think he did make a conscious effort to address the issue.
i dont really know what brought it to a head cause i dont really read heaps of posts(only the entertaining ones), so i havent really read first hand todd saying any nasty stuff in threads of late that may have triggered this(accept for the nasty comments in the 'critisizing game thred' where him and flo where at each other, and it was going both ways).im just offering a logical perspective on what may be going on here.
i also dont think its right that todd gets a mob lyncing, this can lead to people just hopping in cause they find some fun in it.

In all fairness, while Ricardo has supported Todd's points at time, that
in my view is OK. Todd does have valid points. I don't think Ricardo is,
or has at any time ever supported Todd's ill behaviour toward other
people on the forum.
Ricardo's a nice guy, and one of the most consistently positive people on
the forum. He is a shining example, or what Todd should strive to be. Which
is a good player, who is helpfull and compassionate towards other players
who are all struggling to improve.
I personally don't know Ricardo, and when I posted some pretty bad stuff
in the past he didn't tell me - Hey that sucked, you should go burn your
guitar! No, he came out and gave me some constructive advice. I really
respect that. People who treat me in a fair way, are people I can respect.
Ricardo know's Todd in real life, and Todd probably is a nice guy in real
life, it is his online persona which sucks. You cannot blame Ricardo in
any way for occasionally saying Todd is NOT all bad. I think Ricardo is
well intelligent enough to understand how Todd differentiates between
people online.
Todd's main fault is that he is good, but belittle's others, and he is statusy
to a fault. He never provides help to beginners, and he constantly hammers
in a very negative way those at close to his level. Then he worships those
who are better. It is in my view a pretty despicable characteristic.
He reads these threads and I think by now I'm sure he knows with little
doubt how people feel. Watch the "user's viewing the thread" at the the
top of the page "ToddK" appears from time to time.
Personally, I've said a lot of bad stuff about Todd in the last few days, I
mean every word of it. But, if he came back and made an effort to not be
nasty to people - to me it's totally forgivable. He can be a valuable forum
member - I mean he does play the guitar well, and could certainly share
in a usefull fashion some of his knowledge.

the only point i was making was todd wouldnt talk to ricardo with dissrespect, not that ricardo supports todds disrespect.please dont misunderstand my post.
where all human we all have faults, were all quik to judge todd and label him a bad person. i dont think he is a bad person. he has a fault, i have a fault you have a fault. we should take care not to take out on him, what we despise in ourself.

I have heard this several times from members, and receive several private PM's. To come clean and be totally honest, there are ex members that no longer post BECAUSE of some low blow gabs I have made, and just my general arguementative attitude on certain topics. Some members still post, but infrequently because of my pressence. On the old FT (flamenco teacher forum), the first time I was banned (out of 2x), the admin there emailed me a list of forum members that flat out refused to be members as long as I was on board. I am sure that is not what the members themselves wanted to happen, but it did, and with those individuals, it was walking on eggshells and avoiding certain arguements. That is what I have learned. Some of those on the list were or ARE members here too.
Despite what I have learned, I am who I am. Even recently there was something were Admin had to override and edit my post! Admin has their eye on me as much as Florian or Todd or whoever. So I dont' want anyone thinking that I am a butt kiss or just a polite guy, or even mr. Exemplary. I try to tell things honestly the way I see them. But some issues get touchy real fast, and I try to avoid, or carefully word (takes me an hour to type sometimes), that's all. Others type fast, hit enter than try to take it back or delete after it is too late.

wow this whole thing is really opening up a can of worms. it seems many people have an axe to grind for whatever reason.maybe we should start a thred dedicated to people with greivences and they6 can bring them up there.that way we can keep it contained into on thred and stop it from spilling over into other threds all over the foro....hmmmm

ok mibe that was a litlle unfair of me
but lets face it, you are in a tough situation, you are friends in real life, you live in the same city, you visit eachother, you know the other side of him, unfortunatly all i know is what i see here. I dont think hes evil, i never said that, but i am just not clicking with him, or he with me.
Honestly even if he did threat someone unafair and you tghout it was, you not gonna speak out against him and risk your friendship for the sake of someone online, you dont know , from another country, even if you yourself belived he was wrong. are you ?
to your credit, at times in the past i did see you hinting that perhaps is not the way to go.
but the duties as a friend and the duties as a member can get a litlle confusing when you are in the same city.
so its not that i dont respect your opininon i do, Alot !, but the situation you are in dosent always permit you the luxury of just saying exactly what you think even if you tghout he was wrong.
and hey, i would probably do exactly the same in your situation
I dont wanna pressume to know how you think or question your fairnes , but lets face it , you also have a duty as a friend.

I do respect you and belive you and trust you but in this weird situation if you agreed with Todk i would question it because of the above things, if you agreed with me , would be weird between you and Toddk.... lets face it, you couldnt win no matter wich direction you went.
so i didnt wanna put you in this situation, and i never wanted to argue with you because i do like you, have always helped me, threted me with respect, just as i have always tried to do to you. I would hate for that to change because Toddk and i dont see eye to eye, so i tried to limit that possibility by saying " No need to defend him Ricardo" I really did think that would be the end of it.
but i guess we continued. my fault as much as toddk's, whomever, whatever its irrelevant now.
If i was "unfair" it was because i was tring to keep you as a friend in this sticky situation, and didnt wanna put you in a position where you had to chose.
And despite of what anyone else might think, i did make a last 3 page honest attempt to give myself a reason to understand and get on with Toddk, with him not responding or showing any kind of sign that it mattered to him as well, fueled my anger even more, but i tried to be as "fair" as i know how.
with all this beeing said, i made a promise to Simon, and i am done with the subject.
I will stear clear of Toddk all i ask is that he does the same to me.
