Thanks for the tip! I personally would never buy a guitar over the net, understand the mistrusting people.

I've had contact with a few people and sent pictures, said I'd rather have it picked up. 15 people are keeping an eye on it. The link with the video of me which has my address makes it a bit more trustworthy. Hope it works. If not, there's other possibilities, I guess...

Die Gitarre ist sehr gut! Ich verkaufe sie nur als "durchlaufenden Posten" sozusagen. Der Bekannte von mir hat sie mir nur verkauft, weil er aufgehört hat und ich ihm versprochen habe, sie nicht einfach doppel so teuer weiter zu verkaufen, was ja einfach wäre. Jetzt wo ich sie wirklich verkaufen möchte, mache ich es zum gleichen Preis aus Respekt zu ihm.

Die Suttner hat einen viel helleren Klang, was man durch das Mikrofon nicht hören kann, man kann viel besser zwischen weichen und harten Tönen variieren, und sie fühlt sich beim Spielen unheimlich angenehm an. Ich habe gehört, der Preis der Suttner hat sich um €1.500 erhöht seitdem ich meine gekauft habe. Nee, die Suttner gebe ich nie her

Naja,.. die Suttner Gitarren sind gut zugegebender Maßen. Aber Wolfgang hat etwas träumerische Preisvorstellungen. Dafür das seine Gitarren völlig unbekannt sind, sind seine Preise unverschämt. Ich hatte vor mir eine von ihm bauen zu lassen. Aber die Preise sind echt zu astronomisch ungerechtfertigt. Ich ziehe eine gute Conde immer noch vor.

I've heard a great hand-made guitar should never be more than €3.000, anything above that is only the name. That's why I took the Suttner - I personally liked it better than the Marvi I tried which was twice the price. Wolfgang had the chance to make the guitar popular a couple of times, just didn't take it because of price issues...

The other one I'm playing and wanting to sell is a good, stable guitar but very old - 1974.

I heared this story with 1000Euro. But I think... you must have damn much luck to get one in that range.... Well... yesterday I played for a danceclass and after that on the way to a restaurant I stepped in a huge hill of doggy crap...man was that slippy :.((( And when I got my shoe clean again the girl who brought the chips dropped a beer between my legs... :.(((( And I got ill this day!!!! So.. for me the chances are not well to get a good guitar under 1000€ these days...

Under 3000Euro its possible. Manuel Leon once said he payed around 1000 for his conde.

Do you remember the promotion offer of Gerardo Nunez to play his guitar in the encuentro video? Wolfgang was crazy that he didnt do that.... Its the same with his prices.... He constructs very good, but another person should manage the money-things for him...
I also think that Suttner guitars are some levels over Marvi.

Hehe kein Problem. I just wanted to check the Lage. Ich höre immer that he is international bekannt. And his Gitarren are also teuer. Ich glaube over fünftausend. Dream Gitarren sozusagen.

Haha ich musste googlen um herauszufinden wer Frank Zander ist. Der Bauer ist eher Stefan Zander. Afterquestion bestimmt den Price... und wenn die Gitarrensammler reden, müssen die (armen Schlucker) Gitarrenspieler schweigen

Habe auch gerade mal Frank Zander gegoogelt... Ich habe ihn doch glatt mit Kurt Felix (der mit Paola del Medico "verstehen sie Spass" moderiert hat) verwechselt..

Frank Zander ist cool!

Gibt es Gitarrensammler? Ich dachte es sei ein Mythos..

Ok,.. back to the main-threat! Who want to buy Johns hikeing-guitar? 500Euro isnt very much for a guitar..

Naja ich glaube jedenfalls dass nicht viele von den Leuten die sich eine Gitarre über 3000 kaufen, sie wirklich zum Spielen kaufen. Man muss sich im Tanzstudio mit ner blöden Klampfe abrackern, während in den ganzen Vitrinen Traum-Gitarren rumstehen, die nie gespielt werden. Naja für mich hat das ein Ende da ich auch eine gute Gitarre kriegen werde. Es ist trotzdem ein Missverhältnis in meinen Augen.

Can you believe the one I tried cost €7000???? Absolutely crazy. A lot of the Condes I tried out were way overpriced too and didn't even sound very good to me. Condes can be great, I just got a bad pick.

If you buy the guitar in Spain directly you're sure to get better prices than elsewhere. Nowadays you'd get a good price in the US as well, being $3.500 is about €2400 at the moment

I did pay €3.500 for my Suttner and haven't regretted it, I got it insured, though. And I use it to dance classes as well as solo playing.
