I dont know if I will recommend the shop because I had huge problems with my order, but they took it well and finally we got it all sorted out.

And they are worth every krone, penny or cent. Dont buy something cheaper. Its not worth it.

I have a Delta 18/20. I think thats the number. In any case I like it alot. It is much better than the Performax I had for a few days. The only issue with the delta is the raising and lowering mechanism is not as heavy duty as I would like. However it still works really well, I can thickness veneer down to .4mm thick very accurately. I will say though that I had the sanding table leveled at a precision machine shop to make it absolutely perfectly flat. For 800 bucks you aren't going to get much better in my opinion.

I have the Performax 16/32 and I'm very happy with it. Does everything I need it to do.

I've got a Performax 16/32 as well. It's a pretty good machine. For best results I've found that taking lots of light cuts better than trying to got fast. With oily woods you've gotta go slow.
And it's really good for all the small stuff: headplates, linings, bindings, etc.
If your not needing it for wide stuff, the Baby Grizzly might be good, and it's small and requires very little dust collection. I have not tried it though.
