Not sure if there is an "ultimate" rasgueado, but if you are talking non flamenco related, this guy's "rasgueado" is my favorite.

And even he better watch out for this young cutie in future!

Here's a non flamenco one. Rasqueado on one string. Like tremolo with the back of the nails.

Hey Ricardo, thanks for the ukelele stuff. Jake Shimabukuro is a terrific musician.
And thanks for introducing me to Taimane...many talents and an interesting stage presence.

No doubt about that, Ron!
Here's one for you - one of my favourites.

Hang on...it won't let me upload an mp3. How did you do that?

Cool thanks for that. He is obviously a master at whatever chinese music that is. I gather the angle is tilted and he sits with that instrument vertical. Very clean and good rhythm that guy has.

I think its a Cream song... "Strange Brew" or something like that (if you mean in this clip: ) I really liked Taimane's style, and same for the other guy Ricardo posted a clip of.

The most underestimated guitarplayer of all time.

Agreed Koella!
When I lived in a bedsit around Glasgow University, my favourite albums were Paco de Lucia, Carlos Santana, John Coltrane and John Handy.

cheers,

Ron

Im with Simon, if you didnt recognize "Sunshine of your Love", you
need a good butt kicking, pronto. What the hell is wrong with people!!!

Anybody ever notice, the song from "Mambo Kings" is a total ripp off of
Santana's "Europa"

The ultimate in spanishy, cheesy melodies. The title of the song is priceless.

"Beautiful Maria, of my soul"

ay ay ay, cheese cheese and more cheese please!

LOL, hey... I wasn't even BORN YET when Cream were playing this stuff, so you're lucky I even recognised it as Cream at all! Now if you'd asked me the name of a METALLICA song...
