Yes it would be a good idea to set up at a festival time.

OK guys, next question - if we want to meet at a festival time, which festival? All sensible suggestions welcome.

Nice place Simon but if you are looking for something in town
check this out, a bit more expensive but possibly worth it as you could not get a better location if you want to be right by the Sacromonte, Alhambra, Albayzin.

Ailsa, anytime after August 2007 is good with me, I will be in Turkey till the end of August. By the way Turkey is full of some of the most amazing musicians I have ever come across or had a chance to listen too!

What about the next Bienal de Flamenco in 08' or the Festival de Cordoba, Guitarra 08?

Hey JDiaz,

I guess you made the same mistake I did (i.e. misread Duende's post as "WHAT is the bienal" instead of "WHEN is the bienal").

Yes it does. I used to live just opposite in a tiny studio flat on Paseo de los Tristes and the sound of people splashing in the pool used to drive me mad in the hot summer. Luckily have since found the large open air pool here in Granada.

I've heard the chef is fantastic and I have had a thai massage with the lady who they recommend, and she's great as well.

There are some lovely places to stay in the Albaicin many with fantastic views but not all that many with pools. I will try and make a list of some of the best in all price ranges for the forum when I have a minute.
