An olivewood rosette

I just felt I would share this my latest rosette:

I´ve posted a similar rosette before, but this is the first with Orange French Polish and natural color rosette and purfling

More pictures of the guitar can be found on my website under classical.

Nice Anders! How do you combine orange FP with natural purfling??? It really makes the rosette stand out.

ooooohhhhh. Nice

You always manage to make me drool all over my keyboard.

Is that Olivewood's natural color or is it stained?

I leave it to a professional French Polisher. I´ve French Polished some 12 - 15 guitars myself. Its some years ago. I wasnt bad, but doing something like this... No way.

Lipman. The olivewood is natural color. Its from my firewood

Nice rosette. So this is a "classical" guitar? Why the golpeador?

I'm a big fan of people who build things and let the beauty of the materials come through. I dig the rosette. I was practically born in Bethlehem, so I have all kinds of things from back home made from olive wood; beautiful wood. I think an olivewood headplate for a peghead would be sweet. Match it up with the rosette and tieblock inlay.....mmmmm.
