Strings

Refering to the Sanchís López thread below I´d like to open a new thread, because it referes to strings instead of the guitar.

My opinion about the Knobloch Active strings I found them just loud but dead. Jiri Knobloch is a Chechian guitar maker who lives in Munich for the last 1000 years. He had 2 shops with excellent guitar assortment. People say the best guitars he kept home that no one could make the better deal for the money. His prices were extraordinary high. Some years ago he closed his shops. Now he´s working in music shop as an empoyee.

My Sanchís López is stringed with Savarez Chorum Alliance.

For European habitants there is an online shop by a German guitar maker I would like to recomand. They have good prices. For Americans I think it´s too expensive due to duty and shipping. Please check here: www.Saitenkatalog.de

Saludos
Bernd

Here´s another cheap onlinshop for Strings and much more:
http://www.magic-dessous.de/category_id/13/page/splash_strings.htm

And something general about strings, that outsiders know what we are talking about. Wikipedia is a good reference:
http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stringtanga

And in english here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/G-string

Have fun buying.... But let me ask a question.. What the heck have the strings to do with the guitar? HEY!! THIS IS A FLAMENCO FORUM HERE! tststs...
