I'm going to buy a Ricardo Sanchis C...

I'm going to buy a Ricardo Sanchis Carpio or Hermanos Sanchis Lopez.

They are made by the same family in the same workshop in Spain, Ricardo being the father of the two sons, and as there are two generations of luthier, there are two labels.

I have NEVER PLAYED ONE but I HAVE FAITH IN ALL OF YOU on this forum and your wise words and opinions.

My question to you is: How? I live in Melbourne, Australia, and there are very few flamenco resources here.

I can't find a website for the Sanchis family, so I'm going to assume they only sell wholesale. Please correct me if I'm wrong (I would actually like that).

Every retailer I see that sells these guitars has a different selection and names the models differently. It is confusing. Help me find the one and tell me the best way to get it, and I'll always remember your good deed.

I need something like this:

https://ssl.kundenserver.de/s92526103.einsundeinsshop.de/sess/utn;jsessionid=154508ecf80ce4c/shopdata/0010_English/0020_Flamenco+Guitars/0020_Ricardo+Sanchis+Carpio/product_details.shopscript?article=0060_Hermanos%2BSanchis%2BLopez%2B-%2BCutaway%2Bwith%2BFishman%2BProBlend%2B%3D28GITRSC2F1CF%3D29

But want to make sure it's the TOP OF THE RANGE available with these specifications.

Thankyou for your support my flamenco friends,
may the passion be with you always!

did you take a look at http://www.mundo-flamenco.com ? Johannes offers some of their models, also has a forum on his website where he answers questions.

Good luck!

That page is from ole-flamenco.com
If you are intending to buy from them you might want to take a look at this thread first.

Firstly, thankyou PacoPaella for mundo-flamenco.com, but I am not educated in the German language so this website is confusing for me.

Second, thankyou Taranto, and I'll be sure to find a better dealer!

Thirdly, thankyou Sean for the Sanchis website!

Does anyone know how I can get one in Australia? Maybe I'm better off travelling to Spain and learning Spanish...

Two of forum members are selling their Sanchis guitars for a very favorable price.
If interested I'll dig those offers.

Yes, I'm interested... By this do you mean store owners that are also forum members or forum members selling second hand guitars? What are the chances I would find a top model second hand Blanca with a cut-away? Not high. However, I have never bought new instruments before, it's the ageing of a solid guitar that makes it unique. Anyway Abraham, any help would be appreciated.

I don't think these two member have shop or trading on a regular basis, although I don't know them.

Anyway take a look at this thread where they talk about selling their guitars.

Thanks again, but they're not exactly what I'm looking for. I wonder if I should just call Sanchis... Do they speak english?

You might try contacting Sal in Adelaide. He may have some suggestions. His site has a "Contact" link. I have no idea how responsive he will be.

More than likely it's a 660mm with 53mm nut unless it was special ordered to his specs.
