What's happened to eBay?

I used to love shopping on eBay for flamenco merchandise like books, CD's and DVD's. I found there were a lot of independent sellers auctioning off their old books etc. that they no longer needed at very reasonable prices. Fortunately, I managed to buy a lot of those. However, recently all I see are big eBay stores selling new stuff at store prices. I think eBay is losing its "garage sale" image and moving towards becoming another Amazon, at least as far as flamenco merchandise is concerned. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

Ramin

Maybe your observation comes as flamenco is becoming more generally known about, people are becoming more interested, and it's adjusting to the newer international generations' cultures. Much more pop and commercialized.

Seems to be the way of the current North American culture. How's that for a thought?
