Hey all,
Here is one last Bulerias falseta by Cañizares before I get to busy to do these vids.
It's a crazy one this time but I hope ye enjoy it. I certainly do

Another masterclass. It is so impressive how you play slow and with musicality. It is something I have been trying to work on to help with my articulation.

Cheers

Thanks very much guys. Glad ye enjoyed it.
Stu, his first solo album is a must: ‘Noches de Imán y Luna’.
He is on a heap of albums though as accompanist. Morente, Duquende among others.

Listened through once.

I will try again cos I wasn't super keen. I guess i need to get past the "dated" feel. very 90s.

there was one track that jumped out for some crazy technique...but i cant recall which one!.

not the best review sorry!

I’ve been listening to this album this week (thanks to these tutorials) and, well, There is nothing else flamenco to listen to! Shocker. I’m surprised that there are some very creative elements to his compositions. Yet, every falseta, he takes it to some weird direction that I don’t like. I’m not sure there is one single 12 count cycle that I like completely, but 6 counts of it might really be ear catching. Somehow I’m still listening!

I like this one, he is looking to expand the keys a bit and explore the other side of the circle, with a bit more orthodox sound in the end. Anyone know if this made it to a studio album?
