Some beautiful photographs ... I practically do not buy tools because I like to make them, I can make them from any used file or piece of steel ......

Hi, sorry for the delay but I am very busy now, the musical shows are beginning to move and at least there is more work so I do not have much time, I upload some photographs of the violin that will be used to play flamenco also interpreting works by Paco of Lucia.

Really nice, Pali. I like the colour of the varnish and also the treatment of the f-holes. Lovely work!

Thanks RobF,

Well, the restrictions are over and the government begins to allow bars and restaurants to be opened without time limits ...... we'll see, the incidence of infections drops but a measure of 150 people a day still die .....
Some more pictures of construction, I am happy because, as I said earlier, the shows start to move and the musicians to play and that gives work and desire to do things .......

Some more....

The really important thing is the sound, when I finish these I have to make some more violins, so I will try to record something, with these and with the previous ones.

AhAhAhAh!!!

Hi "ernandez R "
Nooooo I do many more things, this is for the forum.
I could not find pernambuco so I got a snake stick, it cost me a lot of money and when I cut it it was very cracked so I could only get some good pieces ......

It is very difficult to make a good violin bow, but I love to make them and I have practically no tools but I don't care about making them and that's it.

The end.....

In the photographs you can see that the silver wound was still missing, so it had not arrived yet but the client took it to test it and play with it, he liked it a lot, it weighed 63 gre, a perfect weight.

Attention! It is not a round bow, no, it is an octagonal violin bow, eight faces totally handcrafted.

And ... again the same, start again

A client sends me this photograph of a performance with one of my guitars, he is touring the world promoting flamenco and the rocieros groups ...
It makes me laugh he came from far away, more than 3000 kilometers and I paid two plane tickets, one for him and the other for the guitar .....

I'm not sure if I uploaded pictures of this guitar.

I made it in 1992 and I keep it because I like it a lot and when I can I play on it to exercise my fingers and I have also found a funny video where you can listen to it, although it is not an open site and the echo does not accompany yet it sounds very good .....

Yes, you read that correctly, fun is fun in all parts of the world.

For many years I have worked very very hard dreaming that one day I could dedicate myself to making instruments, regardless of whether I sell them or not, I don't care ........ that day came 4 years ago and now I'm not dreaming is reality.

I was studying to get my degree at the music conservatory and I worked 12 hours a day, I didn't have time for anything, I earned a lot of money and my illusion was to buy a lot of wood and buy an establishment for myself and I got it.

I do not mass-manufacture instruments, I do the work that requires the most effort in series, everything by hand and then I slowly assemble them, enjoying every moment and even more so, I play them all, that is something that not everyone can do.

There are days when I go to my workshop and sit down to look at it. I have, so I take a guitar and play it enjoying its sound and then another and another ..... that afternoon I don't work I just play the guitar, I read the scores of Paco de Lucia, Sabicas, Victor Monge serranito .... ..and when I get tired I play classical which is my thing; Andres Segobia, Albeniz, Tarrega, Leo Brower, Napoleno Cost .......

From time to time a friend or an acquaintance comes and says: Manuel, do you have any good guitars? I answer: Come in, sit down and play for me while I work ....... if he likes it, he takes it away and if he doesn't like it, try another ....... I don't work for money that's over, if he is a student and he needs to lower the price, I don't care

I learned many crafts, very difficult, but none as beautiful as making instruments.
