Encuentro's Merengue de Cordoba - ot...

Hi,

If you own Merenegue de Cordoba's Encuentro videos, can you recommend other comparable resources that address the same topics in a similar way ? Do you thing Merengue's are currently the best available for what they teach ?

Thanks in advance

The second one is a good reference, where he accompanies the main cantes, especially the chord chart book that comes with it.

The first volume of Merengue de Cordoba teaches basics and a bit right hand technique. I read somewhere on the foro someone pointing out how stiff his right hand is. Don't understand it because in encuentro video Gerardo Nunez right hand looked as stiff as Merengue de Cordoba's right hand.

Moraito's encuentro video has some cante accompaniment. I haven't watched it yet. Can't tell if it's good or bad. I heard O.Herrero Paso a paso Volume 4-9 is good when it comes to cante accompaniment.

Really

I guess it's due to their hand and finger shape. Looks stiff but sounds surprisingly fast. A good tone and sound as well.
