Arpeggio to m-a-m-i picado study

This arpeggio to picado study was taught by Chuscales around 1995 at a New Mexico summer workshop. I learned it in 1997. If it's not to anyone's liking that I published his study I'll take it down, no problem. But since it's that old...

The object is to play the p-a-m-i-p-i-m-a as arpeggio and then end with last four notes m-a-m-i as a rest stroke picado.

The second premise was to create a study that is an arpeggio that ends as picado. The chords are cycled through twice, then his idea was you move it up one fret and play the same chords off of a bar. This is really difficult, however, the study as it is in first position without the bar is quite challenging. I never had much fun playing it off the bar and even thought it could be good way to get tendonitis. Use sparingly that way is my advice.

So from measure fifteen with the Dm chord at V fret - that's my own ending to give the study closure and a warm down section to take stress off your hands.

If anyone wants it I can send you a PDF of the score, or explain to me how to publish the score in this thread.

Cool study. The arpeggio-picado pattern is like Andy Culpepper's etude. Except he does im alternation picado.

To post it here, two options:

1. upload it as image files (jpg, png, etc);
2. upload the pdf to Google drive (or equivalent) and post the link here.

Cool, it seems based on some Niño Ricardo patterns except he would switch to basic picados i-m-i-m on the third beat.

Gerardo taught us his modern take on the same type of patterns at 2:00
