Gerhard Graf-Martinez Request

I have heard from Gerhard's wife that he is in hospital. Gerhard has been very supportive of this forum and I would ask you to post your good wishes here so I can collate them and send him a "Get Well" card.

from flamenco teacher.com

"Gerhard has a double herniated vertebral disk (slipped disc) of cervical vertebra (es: Prolapso del disco intervertebralis entre vertebra 5/6 y 6/7 de la columna vertebralis del cuello). He could not move his right arm and is distracted with pain in shoulder and arm."

Please extend my best wishes to him and an apology for any distress I may have caused him or his wife over my metronome problem. Had I have know about his condition I would have never posted the issue. I'm simply not that kind of person.

I think alot of us were caught off guard by this, but how were we to know. All we knew is the emails weren't being responded to.

I wish Gerhard the best as this can be a serious condition, especially if the integrity of the spinal colum is compromised.

Ouch, I had the same in L5-S1 (lower back) and had half the disk removed in the USA. Pain is on the main nerve roots, like nothing I have ever experienced. Thanks for your best wishes and keep them coming.
