Hi Nigel.
Are you studying with someone there?

Sergio I'm purely a hobbyist. I follow two online profs (Paco Costa in Valencia and Antonio Dovao in Huelva). And in Jerez I have odd lessons with a guy called Moises to iron out any technique issues.

El Puerto is just where I have my home with my Spanish family - nothing to do with flamenco

What about yourself? For sure you have no problem getting close to a flamenco scene in Jerez

ps: Yesterday we had rain. First time in many months.

I am new to flamenco. I've spent years playing blues and flamenco, but after a video of Diego del Gastor sent by a friend, I am totally obsessed with this music.
I feel I had a gem under my couch and I didn't know it.

You have so many teachers for being a hobbyist. I don't know about Moises, What is his surname?

Jaja I just find it nice to look at things from 2 different views. Sometimes Paco says something and I think what????? Then I look to Antonio and all becomes clear. OK not always. Sometimes I'm twice as confused Then I ask Moises to play it.

I'll ask him next week. Never asked him
