What caused the peg to break, an impact?

If it is not mechanical it's pretty easy to by another make and shave it to fit. Am I missing something?

If they are Pegheads, I believe the models changed and they have a different fit.

RE: pegs on Anders Eliasson guitar (in reply to DavRom

update and a question...

i really missed this guitar. finally, Pegheds found a peg for me , including some extra parts in case of future repairs (the "LAST ONE." lol...the owner writes his emails with occasional CAPS)

i'm in love with this guitar. it's hard to put it down, esp after putting new strings on. So i have a question about strings...

i've been using La Bella 820 for the bass end. they're great on this guitar, but i know 4th string will unravel quickly. Also, these strings wear my nails down more than any other set i've played

anyone know of a comparable set of bass strings?
