Alberto Luque's Youtube channel

Here is the link:

What do you think about this channel? Is it good for learning some beginner level falsetas? Do you think his accompaniment videos are useful?

Checked it out, pretty cool, reminds me of Tony Flamadeus's channel. Kind of odd his choice of palos, a lot of less popular ones. Most the accompaniment videos are pretty good kind of a quick primer for that palo, basically "here's the chords that get used and here's when to use them." His choice of rajeo and rhythm is really old school, I'm curious if that's how he really plays or he just thinks that's what people should learn first. I didn't like how he accompanied the Macanita bulerias but then again I'm kind of hyper-focused on Jerez right now so I might be being a picky pain in the arse.
All and all, pretty good, very old school.

Thanks Leñador.
His channel was very helpful for me when I started to learn flamenco guitar (as someone new to both flamenco and guitar). Before encountering his channel, falsetas I found on youtube were difficult to play and understand, hence it was taking a lot of effort for me to learn. I had to play same few falsetas everyday. In his channel, palos are playlisted separately, the videos are concise and falsetas are simple; hence I was able to get quite a few falsetas under my belt in main palos in a relatively short time. Now it is easier for me to learn more difficult falsetas.

When a friend asks me how to learn flamenco guitar, I direct him to Luque's channel, especially to Solea, Bulerias and Tangos playlists as a beginning. I just wanted to be sure that I am doing a right thing, and I am happy to hear that you considered him old school.

Dug around some more, there's a couple odd things. Solea falseta 27 is more a buleria falseta, it's like a buleria you'd hear at the end of a solea baile number. Solea falseta 29 is pretty much an escobilla por caña, which I guess you could lump in with solea but he should mention it before he plays, if a dancer asked for a solea escobilla and you gave them that they'd look at you baffled.
That's just from random clicking. There's some odd stuff here and there but still for beginners I think it's pretty great. Check out Tony Flamadeus's channel too, it's similar, less videos but less quirks.

I forget how far I've drifted from old school playing till I hear stuff like that. It was my bread and butter when I started but now it sounds so different.
