Guitar nr. 4 is ready... 

Hey ya

Here`s my guitar nr. 4. It`s a blanca based on a santos hernandez plan.
I did my fist frenshpolish job on this guitar... it was a very good experiance and the result ist okay.

Here the specs:
Sides and Back: Solid Cypress
Soundboard (top): Solid swiss spruce (moonwood)
Fingerboard:ebony
Scale :65 cm
Width of nut: 52 mm
String actionat the saddle: 7.5 mm
at the 12th fret: 2,4 mm
Varnish: Frenshpolish


So...i`m going to enjoy the guitar now. Next project is in the pipeline.
A negra with ciricote.... somebody has experiance with this beautiful wood?

Nice presentation of your guitars. I see you built a Barbero style guitar, as well.

My 4th guitar was no where near as good looking as yours.

THX Tom.... but there a a loooot of things wich I need to make better next time.
I really love these learning process and the time in the evening in my small workshop..just me, wood, tee and good music... and to play on a selfmade instrument is just amazing!

Wow those are beautiful guitars you are making, are you self taught? It has always been a dream of mine to attend on of Stephen Hills guitar making courses.

Go for it. Stephen is a lovely guy. La Herradura is one if the best places on the Costa, take away some wonderful memories and an excellent guitar, that you built.
