Some technique nerd arpeggio question

Hello, according to Gerardo Nunez great Encuentro video I've noticed that he didn't plant x finger right after p plays. I always do it like that: when p plays plants x finger, it's simultaneously, thats how the pumping nylon guy suggests it. But Gerardo doesn't do it simultaneously, when playing fast it doesn't really matter but I would like to know if it's better for slow arp practice to practice the simultaneous planting movement or not (maybe because it is a more relaxed way of playing?)
I am doing seq. plants if both directions.

Didn't you ask a similar question in this thread recently? Sequential plant vs. full plant

Or maybe you view this new thread as a more general question?

Hi Kitarist, no it's a different question.
I am comparing these two guys:
at 0:18
you see clearly that I does not go directly to the string when P plays

at 3:58 he plants I right after P

What is better?

Whose playing do you like better? I think Gerardo Nuñez is light years ahead.
