New Guitar Order!

Hi everyone I am excited for to share the news that I have an order in with Shelton Farretta Guitars for a new Blanca. After almost switching paths out of flamenco I decided I couldn't deny the passion I had for it. I will post some pictures of course when it arrives in the coming months. John could not be a nicer a guy to deal with up to this point. Also thanks to the other luthiers here who I have discussed possible builds with, you have all been generous with your time.

Smells fishy to me. Is the sole OK with the relatively low humidity in the guitar case?

It's probably a breathable inner sole.

That's a relief! If it's breathable it shouldn't smell too bad.

If that's the sole problem, I'd say the guitar's going to be alright.

but what if it's a cotton sole? it's gonna smell either way :(

Is the back teria? If so, it will smell.

I prefer cypress.

I would recommend being extra aware of the acoustics of the place he's playin in.

Wouldn't bring that guitar to play in a mush room.

Do you know if the center lines in the neck are ebony or carbon filler? And I suppose they go all the way through?
