For hopeless guitars

I just came across this on Facebook and had to share it. What to do with hopeless guitars? Yes, this is a bit sacrilegious.

Dali springs to mind. I like it.

That's more of a classical guitar neck angle it looks like.

Startling on first sight. But then ... I like it too.
There were times when it was said that you couldn´t find Ferraris on scrap yards. These days I suppose you could find some there. -Just besides.

When initially planing to build a studio here, I was thinking of putting a worn out dud over the gate. After having filled the soundhole and covered the whole thing with spar varnish. (And leaving it with strings on.)

It is a pity how basically slick shapes are ending on the dump without being put to some final decorative use.

I like it. Clever use of the sound hole to keep the bottle upright and stable.

What a waist, for a ugly table, oh well, you have to let the maid know, only when dusting,
to only do a French polish on the top.
