In 2009 I had Vicente Carrillo make me a flamenca negra to my specs as a 1A. I wanted a negra and requested that the back and sides be made of Madagascar Rosewood. It sounded very good and was very well made. As others have noted, it was a bit on the heavy side, but that did not detract from my enjoyment in playing it. After three years, however, I decided I wanted blancas only for playing flamenco and sold it. I think you got your Carrillo for a very good price, and if you enjoy playing it consider that you got a fine guitar for a good deal. Bill
