Powertool

Slightly luthier related but more woodworking in general in my case...

Two ended jigsaw/wire thing. I'm sure there is a term.

Scroll saw.

That headstock looks like a sick pineapple.

Chacun à son gout.

There's a great Spanish maker whose guitars I like a lot, and whom I really like personally, but his headstock always reminds me of Bart Simpson's haircut.

Thanks. Is it a saw -blade- or just a piece of taut rough wire?

Scroll saw blades have teeth, some blades are for plastic, metal or wood and fine and medium fine cut. Depends on your task and material. There aer even scrl saw blades that are spirals and have teeth on all sides so the material can be moved in any direction.

You can can also get very nice hand held scroll saws, of jewelers saw frames for ultra fine work.

I think I know who you mean. That's why I did Barbero or Santos' headstock for a long time. If you can't beat them, don't be original just 'cause you can.
