That was awesome. So he still has trouble with flexion of his index for arps and picado?

Arps tremolo tirando but picado is no problem.

Great as usual.
I'm surprised to see him still using Marvi. I though he decided it was too heavy to tour with it...

No picado anymore for him nor tremolo, just rasgueado and some arpeggio with m and a. Even rasgueados are mainly m, a and the little finger.

As for the arpeggio you can clearly see it in his Vals Flamenco (11:47 on), just a and m. i is "al aire".

It's wonderful to see his adaptation capabilities. He is an awesome inspiration for all of us with age, stiffer and aching fingers

Maybe you mean based on this short video? I saw him doing picados just fine couple years ago, and on Facebook too.
