Selling my loved Ricardo Sanchis Car...

Hi guys,

long time no see. I am selling my Ricardo Sanchis Carpio with maple 2006. No2 ever build. I won one of the bulerias challenges of Jason MCGuire here in past playing this guitar. See link below.

Because the wood on the back is cut in a direction that it looks like shell. Its unique, Ricardo made only 2 of these. The rest is cut like in the commercial of the shop la falseta la falseta scroll down to RSC acre

Its in excellent condition.

- Top: German Spruce
- Back / Sides: Maple
- Neck: Honduran Cedar
- Fingerboard: Ebony
- Scale Length: 660mm
- Width at nut: 53mm
- Machine head
- 12 hole system
- easy to play (see video)
- Price: I bought it for 4100 euros and sell for 2500 euros. Delivery included. You would have to take care of taxes if you are not in Europe, where it is located right now.

Please note that the guys from la falseta take 6000 euros for this model and luthiermusic 8000dollars. That feels a bit overpriced to me luthiermusic.com same model only wood of that back is cut differently

However, you could either play and enjoy it, or get a super expensive model in excellent condition with proven playability for a super cheap price and make more money with it if you like. I just need to sell as I need some money to buy Christmas presents for my gf. You guys with gf know what Im talking about. And I used to laugh about ppl who said relationships are expensive...

Please send me a pm in case you are interested.

If it is agains the forum rules to sell a private guitar, please feel free to delete this post. I will put my guitar on ebay in 2 weeks.

Hi Doit,

if la Falseta have one for 6000 and Luthiermusic one for 8000, there should be at least 3 of them out there.

Wonder BTW if you still have such an awful playing level...would like to hear more bulerias from you.
As I am playing very little, I Wonder how much my 1F cypress from 2000 might sell.

Hi mecmachin,

He only build 2 with curly maple. The ones you see online have the same wood on the backside but its cut along the axis of the tree that it doesn't look curly. Thats the difference. On the picture below its easier to see.

So yes, you are right. There is the same model with the same wood multiple times out there besides that detail.

I had to stop playing because of work. Clients are looking on my fingers which is why I cannot grow my nails anymore and put glue on them as I did before. Without nails its much less fun to play. So my level dropped because some techniques are quite hard without nails..

Could professionally set up acrylics be an option?

What a great guitar. I think that people do not understand the difference between a Sanchis factory guitar and a Ricardo Sanchis guitar. I would love to have it but I do not need another flamenco guitar

Mucha suerte.

Get her a Ricardo Sanchis for Christmas. No need for money and no need to go looking for a gift. Problem solved.

Awesome guitar. I bought a right handed guitar with the 12 hole setup and switched the strings around and the strings didn't sit in the middle of the fret board any more. It took a rather inelegant repair to make them sit in the middle. I think it had something to do with relief carved into the neck. I never had this problem with the other guitars I have. I wish I knew if this guitar has neck relief......cause it looks and sounds great.

That's strange, the string exits the bridge through the same hole with a 12 or 6. So the 12 hole block makes no difference (unless you have it going through the wrong hole of the pair).

It was the neck relief according to the builder, not the 12 hole setup. It resulted in the strings being not centered. The repair involved making the strings do a turn so they'd line up. Really not something I'd want to do another guitar. It is easily reversible though in case I decide to sell it.

I will put the guitar on ebay this weekend. Not sure yet if posting it on ebay.com or ebay.de or another one makes a difference..

Will post the link here. Please check it out. Once its up there I cant offer it here the same time. For the guys who contacted me, I will notify in case it times out there. I want to sell it as soon as possible. Thats why I put it up.

For the one who asked for measurements. I am currently in Sweden. Will take measurements on Friday when Im home. Im sorry for being late.. I dont have a scale at home and never had such a busy travel schedule in my life.. so I had no idea how to measure until now..
