Who plays the opening tremolo piece ...

The tremolo intro to the Nuestro Flamenco radio show has been growing on me. Does anyone know what song/piece that is from... or was it recorded especially for the program?

Fantastic, thank you! Trying to hunt that down has been making me a bit loopy, and me guessing the wrong palo sure didn't help.

I believe it's been tabbed in one of his books. It has an unusual tuning with 6th dropped to B and 1st to E flat or something like that.

Thanks for the tip. For me It really is an exceptional example of how to effectively use tremolo - it's very powerful emotionally. I have always been unreasonably biased against re-tuning my guitar for a single song - But having a good motivation to improve on tremolo technique may call for an exception. :-)
