different tuner with capo

Not sure if you have seen this ... there are many on line tuners , and ones with different tunings and banjos and ouds and all that ..
but sometimes you tune and put the capo on and its a bit out , maybe ..

so this one is the other way around ..you play and it tells you what note you have ..
so put your capo on fret 2 and you should get
F#, B , E , A, C#, F#.

etc .. depending on where you put the capo ,, but you dont have to move it after tuning ....

ah well ...if you wanted to experiment ...

you do need a mic though .. of course

RE: different tuner with capo (in reply to El Kiko

I always buy a chromatic tuner rather than one with set tuning because it tells you the exact note you are playing which comes in handy especially with the Oud being fretless and has many different tunings depending on the music style you are playing..

from trying different models I settled on a micro headstock clip-on tuner by planet waves like this one:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005FKF1PY/ref=pd_lpo_sbs_dp_ss_1?pf_rd_p=1944687542&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe-1&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B001PGXIVG&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=16VD198MCXZZEBXRC2EQ

it's very small and discrete and you can just simply leave it on all the time.
