Can you guess what the major sonic problem was?

Forgetting to complete the bridge before gluing it on because you were so excited?

It looks great otherwise.

I once glued a bridge on with the tie block towards the sound hole.... I found out that Titebond had created a VERY strong bond in less than a minute.

That's tough because then you have to wrap the strings around the over the tail and back all the way up to the tuners. You have to find extra long strings.

What's the story here? Pet elephant stepped on it? Or maybe you had it hanging for spray finishing and it fell?

neglecting proper education to my workshop elephant has been pointed out at me as civilizational failure before - people just don´t understand he won´t allow a top with that amount of runout to leave the shop.

in all seriousness, though, too long story - i´ll just say that it´s a permanent reminder not to let french polish drive you mad. and to keep your workbench tidy and free of heavy engineer vises.
and to take a deep breath at times.

all the best,
Miguel.
