Composing flamenco

Hey guys,
today I want to introduce you to one of my favourite guitarists and composers:
Paul Gilbert!
Check this vid out, it's a real nice composition and he got some nice flamenco vibes in his playing. I really like the melody of this piece. To be honest he is a better composer than the most other flamenco guitarists around (Tomatito or Anton Rey for example)
I know, you don't want to hear that, but the truth is not always nice.
Enjoy this excellent playing, we all can learn a lot from Paul.

Peace
PetrucciFan

I get it, it's a ruse.
Well from a metal head stand point, this guy still sucks, and Petrucci and Kirk hammet are secret lovers.

Lenny,
I reckon someone up top likes to smoke on a ''Gilbert'' at the weekend.....Monday to Friday there is some serious''Petrucci'' chugging going on. He knows how to exercise and master his ''chops'' in a self satisfaction sort of way.
I was going to sit back with the popcorn bowl a la ''El Kiko'' but my comfort zone may be compromised if someone gets onto the subject of ''cornholing!!!

Best

In all honsesty, few musical events out shine early Racer-X, especially Second Heat.

Flamingo is weak of course, but I can forgive him as many times I have enjoyed Sacrifice, Motorman, Loud and Clear etc falsetas.

I'm a big Paul Gilbert fan from way back in the 80's

I love the Racer X records too.

The guy is an absolute God in Japan. He speaks fluent Japanese and i'm pretty
sure he's married to a Japanese girl.

I had to google friedman japan:
https://vimeo.com/85012015

I'm sure he's making some good money with that stuff.

But I thought the metal game show comment was a joke until I saw this:
