2003 Valeriano Bernal Sueno (SOLD)

Hello Everybody, Up for sale is a 2003 Valeriano Bernal Sueno "flamenco" guitar. Price: $1200.00 O.B.O. Specifications: Top - Solid Cedar Back - 3 Piece Solid Cypress Sides - Solid Cypress Scale - 650 Nut - 52 Saddle & Nut - Plastic or tusk, not sure which Tuners - Ping, cheap Asian Description: A very sweet sounding, mellow flamenco guitar. If you are looking for a raunchy sounding guitar go somewhere else however if you are looking for a good sounding, versatile guitar you've come to the right place. This guitar is unique in that it has a 3 piece back, Mr. Bernal no longer makes guitars with a 3 piece back as the process is very time consuming. The tuners have been replaced at least 3 times, when I changed the tuners I noticed holes for the original set and then 2 more holes drilled for a standard set. I replaced the tuners with cheap ping tuners for the following reasons: They work as well as more expensive ones, just not as pretty and don't last as long; They don't increase the resale value; I don't keep a guitar for more than 2 years. I'm not sure if the nut and saddle are original but one thing is for sure, the intonation is spot on. I didn't change the Nut & Saddle to bone because I don't hear a difference in sound, bone is organic and I can see why people like to use it though. The reason why I;m selling this guitar is because I've purchased a different one. The guitar is located in Farmington Hills, MI.. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
