Final verdict: 2 years of jail on probation, plus fine fully retained. It´s been hell of a time. An example of arbitrariness, unpredictability and treachery that surpassed even my worst expectations. A jurisdiction of clerical construct that puts minor items like proof, facts, logic, witness and justice under superiority of mere opinion and bias of simple, discriminative (or just as regularly bribed) mind. Unspeakably frustrating to be catering to evil low-life, ruining me financially; and with expenses not even over yet (if wanting to have the fine put down to lowest installments possible –which I badly want in order to prevent a sudden dorado for the low-life-, taking me at least another 5 mio. of bribe), amounting overall spending to well over 60 mio. blood tax. (In my budget the 1:1 equivalent to € 60 000.) Yet, it would had ended way worse (not far fetched, possibly even with my death), specially without the spontaneous and intense help of a local friend. I want to say thank you to him from the bottom of my heart. Further kudos to a number of people who partially went to quite an extend with trying to help in manifold ways as well. And I want to thank those who have been anxiously hoping for my best from afar; watching, inquiring, bearing with me, trying to comfort and encourage me during these near 1,5 years of plain horror. It has been essential to feel that there are mates in place who do care about one´s life. - And on the other hand, once again instructive to learn where one actually ranks for others whom you fancied to be closely related to. I wish you to never go through revelations of that kind. Thank you, Ruphus

Ruphus, I've just discovered this thread and what you've been going through. Though it won't do much good coming from a total stranger, I do feel for you and hope it gets better from here. A few years ago, I had some legal issues with the French state over the legal status of my company. Though I had done nothing worse than a slight mistake by ignorance (of course in France the law states that ignorance of the law is no excuse, which in many ways makes sense but also has the indirect consequence of giving a dictatorial amount of power to the State. It ended up in a fine that took me years to pay off and mainly a feeling that I was on my own and the State that was meant to protect the people could also turn out to be its executioner. A few years ago, a work friend of mine, photographer and film-maker Christian Poveda was assassinated in Salvador. He had been working on the local gangs (divions of Mara Salvatrucha) and issued a documentary that showed the extent of corruption in the Salvadorian police and State. Though the circumstances of his assassination were never made official by the State, it is widely believed that the police orchestrated his Killing (Christian was working with some of the most violent gangs on earth and the police, to get rid of him, allegedly lied to the gangs and told them that Christian was a "snitch" working for them). This type of injustice seems to run the gammut from a slap on the wrist to outright assassination in some places of the world. What they share is that it is a behemoth of the size of a State or a MNE that is raining down the full brunt of their power on single individuals. In such a situation, it is hard not to feel hopeless. I deeply admire your resolve and resilience in defending your own cause. Hopefully it will bear fruit. I suppose the silver lining in your sentencing is that is is only probational so that you won't have to do any actual jail time. Cheers to that, stay careful and best of luck moving forward.

Hi Piwin, People of your grasp and attitude are never total strangers to me. It´s a sincere pleasure to realize how another very interesting spirit has joined this forum. They very dictatorial amount of power that you observed is a sad reality with assumably all existing judicial methods, which are far from the ethical integrity they could be comprised of. Unfortunately, how else could it be when laws are written and ordered by ruling castes. On top of law constructs voluntarily defending exploitation, privilege, nepotism and power there adds the partially unfathomed degree of practical arbitrariness. Patent rights undermining conduct I have already experienced in Germany. Obviously with black lists still in place, as philanthropist and true democrat you will find yourself doomed whenever trying to defend oneself against established companies´ or combine´s blatant infringements, no matter your evidence. And the violators will know that in advance. Yet, the degree of western judicial misuse compares like peccadillo to the court practice of a religious doctrine that is based on upside-down worldview, principles, cruelty and arbitrariness from the get go. Stuffed will all facts to your advantage, as a western mind you may enter court with confidence, to then see the ground simply pulled from underneath your feet. And you will be dazed. Keeping up, trying to fight and defend yourself. (Had I just followed local customs of appeasing the suitor regardless, it would had cost me "only" some 15 grands or so.) Not giving in to the crouched whispering being that´s being expected from everyone and from your presentenced case to beg rural spirited highness´ mercy. And your insisting on justice will merely be perceived as ramblings of an outrageous rebel who´d be in need for a little disciplining, earning you nothing but ill will. So, I escaped jail by only a hair, while a low-life human trash of truly utmost shabby category is to celebrate a pecuniary booty that he otherwise never had a chance to gain in life / could not have saved up in decades.
