Bending guitar sides using air gun?!

For my first guitar I used steam from teapot and I bent piece by piece without a mold and it was exhausting so I don't want to go to it again.
so is it good to use air gun with a mold?!

You may want to find away to set your heat gun up so it heats a metal tube rather than heating the wood directly.

Check out the IBEX bending iron. That should give you an idea of what a lot of us use.
